A Secondary School Graduation Requirement

Every Student who begins secondary school in Ontario is required to complete 40 hours of community involvement in order to receive a diploma. The purpose of this requirement is to encourage students to develop an understanding of the various roles they can play in their community and to help develop a greater sense of civic responsibility and belonging within the community.

Salvation Army Fill a Bag Campaign

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to help staple flyers to paper bags for the fill a bag campaign.

10th Annual Eric Gutknecht Memorial Hockey Tournament

Kemptville District Minor Hockey Association is looking for volunteers to help with the Eric Gutknecht Memorial tournament. Volunteering duties will range from, selling raffle basket tickets, game clock, game sheet, music, etc.

WHEN: November 15th to 17th

Friday - 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm

Saturday - 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

Sunday - 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Volunteers needed for Commemoration Service in front of the cenotaph at the old NG.  Need someone to lead "O Canada" at the beginning of ceremony and "God Save the Queen" at the end, a trumpet player and individual to read "in Flanders Fields"

Santa Claus Parade – November 30th, 2019

The Rotary Club is once again presenting the Santa Claus Parade.  We are looking for volunteers to help with street monitoring, preparing the route, and assisting with direction for floats, bands, etc.

Manotick Family Christmas PartySanta Claus With His Bag.png

Is looking for volunteers to help with the Manotick Family Christmas party following the Santa Parade. Volunteers will be assisting young children  with various activities, games and the Santa visit.
